As a news photographer, I learned the skill of being able to capture those special shots that instantly tell the story of an event. This experience also trained me in photographing to tight deadlines, often spanning several different locations. Since starting up my own photography business in 2007, I have chronicled events such as the annual Motorexpo London that puts top-of-the-range cars on show across Canary Wharf, and delivered event, portrait and product photography for major organisations such as Apple, Ugg, Gant, Transport for London and the Department for Health. I have also photographed cultural events of all sizes, from the Leeds and Reading festivals to the London Marathon and Limehouse’s Narrow Street Fete.
I am passionate about cycling, and have been on hand to photograph a range of cycling events such as the London Cycling Campaign’s Big Ride, which attracted around 10,000 people.
I have been the principal photographer at events on several occasions, and have experience of directing a team of photographers and delivering images at speed. I am also able to incorporate the necessary branding seamlessly into a shot, making it prominent and yet unobtrusive.
